Story: The rock formations and water sources of Colorado and New Mexico served as the starting points for these more abstracted pieces I painted while living there. Encustic thickness lends itself to geological form, while the shapeless, meandering color spectra flowing through cracks and surface rock represent water currents and coursing streams.
