Cassandra Taylor

Born to a creative family of many siblings in Dallas Texas, Cassandra joined in on the artistic bandwagon from a very young age. An early career in modeling initially took her in a different direction, but the arts was a continuous calling, be it fashion, textiles, ceramics or other fine art. She was mentored by many art greats (e.g., Peter Beard of The Time is Now gallery) but did not study art formally. Instead, her empirical training in art largely was and continues to be used therapeutically, healing past wounds and current struggles. That being said, the sale of her works has sustained her entrepreneurial pursuits for over a decade, and in the past two years she has introduced her paintings to the public through various social media campaigns. The works don’t reference a single style, theme or technique, as she does not follow the adage “Do what you do best and stick with it.” Rather, she is keen to embrace and create from what presents to her.
